Corentin work together as a couple, \u003cbr\u003ecarrying out everything from growing willow to weaving baskets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter studying at an art university, Karen encountered willow basket weaving during a training period in Ireland, \u003cbr\u003eand later learned the craft at the National School of Willow Growing and Basketry in Fayl-Billot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMeanwhile, Corentin visited makers of the traditional Périgord willow basket known as the “Bouyricou.” \u003cbr\u003eDrawn strongly to its spiral structure, he chose to pursue basket making as his path.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, the two continue their work while cultivating around twenty varieties of willow themselves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“Working together in the workshop and weaving willow at our own rhythm brings us joy,” they say. \u003cbr\u003eFrom traditional basketry to works exhibited as willow to weaving baskets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter studying at an art university, Karen encountered willow basket weaving during a training period in Ireland, \u003cbr\u003eand later learned the craft at the National School of Willow Growing and Basketry in Fayl-Billot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMeanwhile, Corentin visited makers of the traditional Périgord willow basket known as the “Bouyricou.” \u003cbr\u003eDrawn strongly to its spiral structure, he chose to pursue basket making as his path.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, the two continue their work while cultivating around twenty varieties of willow themselves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“Working together in the workshop and weaving willow at our own rhythm brings us joy,” they say.
